Overview

Join us for the One World Cook-Along Series 2021 where some of our amazing societies will be cooking up a storm with their delicacies from all over the world! In this installement, the Italian Society will be making Scarpariello, a traditional pasta dish from Naples. Originally it was a common meal for the shoemakers, the "scarpari", from which It takes its name, beacause they would frequently take cheese from their clients as payment or simply as a gift and eventually use it in their pasta for a quick lunch. The Scarpariello is as simple as good and is still a popular dish in the south of Italy.

The Cook-Along will be Live Streamed on the  Student Life Instagram Account @StudentLifeKCLSU

For this Cook-Along you will need:

  • 200g of baby tomatoes
  • 50g of Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 1 garlic clove
