Overview

The theme of the third week of LGBT+ History Month is QTIPOC Empowerment. As QTIPOC folks experience oppression at the intersection of racism, queerphobia, interphobia and transphobia, it is important to uplift and amplify their voices and, address the discrimination they experience.

Join us on 15 February for an open discussion led by QTIPOCs to address the racism, transphobia, interphobia and other forms of discrimination that exists within the LGBT+ community and how the community can be better QTIPOC allies.

This event is a safe space and there is zero tolerance for any form of discrimination and hate speech. We urge all participants to remain respectful, failure to do will result in serious consequences.
