Overview

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is an annual observance that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were taken as a result of transphobic violence. Join KCLSU LGBT+ Network, King’s Chaplaincy and our KCLSU Officer Team for a virtual vigil that will mark this significant day. There will be a reading of names for the trans people who have passed on in 2020 and this will be followed by a reading of poetry and prose by trans and non-binary writers. There will be a lighting of candles at King’s Chapel as names are read. We invite attendees to bring a candle and light one with us if you so wish.

The vigil will be held over Microsoft Teams: register for attendance by purchasing a free ticket. You will be then emailed an invite to the Teams meeting. If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected].
