KCL STAR (Student Action for Refugees) is proud to present this year’s conference on the topic of refugee identities. ‘Who Are We? Refugees, displaced identities and the question of belonging’ - a day-long exploration of what it means to be away from your home and how that affects your identity. We will touch upon aspects such as nationality, family, and sexual identity. We gathered speakers from policy research groups, charities, and grassroots organisations to lead the conference.
This event is suitable for people who have an understanding of the asylum-seeking process on all different levels. You are welcomed even if you are a beginner! You will also have a chance to participate in workshops to explore the topic first-hand.
