Event Description

Tuesday 11 February 2020

6pm - 9:30pm

Queens Park Community School,  NW6 7BQ

Overview

We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help at an event we're hosting, "What it takes to make it in modern Britain" by Hashi Mohamed. Hashi is a writer, broadcaster, top barrister, and former child refugee. He'll be talking about his life and the barriers to social mobility in the UK.

We're hoping to learn lots and also to raise awareness and money for the work we do amongst refugee and migrant children and families, in north west London.

We need volunteers to help us set up the space and welcome guests.
