Overview

Locking is a style of funk dance that many might recognise from James Brown performances and Michael Jackson music videos. Originating in the 1960s, locking is one of the most influential street dances of our time, bringing together cultures and influencing countless moves. Breakin' KCL would like to organise a free Locking workshops for people of the KCL community to come together and connect through dance, learn about the history of locking, and express their own uniqueness on the dance floor.
