Guys Campus, Great Maze Pond, London SE1 1UL

Overview

Food is an important cultural symbol globally, to Palestinians both from the diaspora and in Palestine, It remains one of the biggest ways through which we connect to our national Identity. We will be selling Falafels and Kunafa to celebrate Palestinian culture on campus and to allow students the opportunity to experience an aspect of culture that fills us with pride. Students and staff are welcome to come for a cheap delicious lunch that is suitable for vegetarians and vegans as well! Falafels will come with a Keffiyeh (Traditional Palestinian scarf), a hummus dip and some tahini sauce for 5 pounds on the day, and 4 pounds if you grab a ticket from here in advance! The Kunafa, a warm cheesecake like Palestinian sweet from Nablus will also be sold separately on the day. All Profits from the event will go towards UNICEF UK to help them finance the amazing work they do for children all around the world!

We hope to see you all there!
