LGBT+ History Month – Open Mic Night
Join us for our second Open Mic event of the year in room 4.2 in Macadam Building, Strand campus.
Open to all liberation groups to participate: so, anyone and everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring your friends, even those from other unis (you can sign in up to 3 people under your name - if you need more, let us know so we can plan ahead)!!
If you want to go on stage, message the KCL LGBT+ page, explaining in short detail what you want to do and we'll add you to the list ?
It's a chance to make your voice heard! Whether you're alone or in a group, giving a short presentation, doing stand up comedy, singing or reciting a poem - we will be there to listen!
If you feel like doing this, but have no clue how to, also feel free to message the group, and we can give you some tips and tricks! Not because we've done it ourselves, but because google is magic!
The times and the list of everyone performing will be published closer to the date, so be on the lookout!
The room is only accessible through the Strand building - further accessibility (e.g. ramps for wheelchairs) can be arranged with notice.
Gender neutral facilities are located throughout the building.
This is an alcohol-free event.
Safe space policy applies as always
If you have any questions related to the event, or if you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to message the KCL LGBT+ Facebook page.
