Overview

Following the success of our first event in the 'Deshon ki Saqafat' series on women empowerment, King's College London Indo-Pak Development Forum is proud to present the second event of the series 'The Misunderstood Outlook: Unboxing the Media Rhetoric in the Subcontinent'.

The media is significant in addressing the internal and external issues India and Pakistan face. It plays an even greater role when it comes to the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The panel will discuss the geo-political conflicts between India and Pakistan from a dual lens perspective. The panel will consist of renowned personalities with plentiful experience in their country's respective journalistic fields. The journalists in this panel will elaborate on their experiences in the industry, and discuss the influence of the rhetoric adopted by media when it comes to bridging the two countries socially and politically.

Please join us on Saturday, 16th of February from 5 pm to 7.30 pm for an insightful and unique discussion in relevance to the Indo-Pak relations.
