Overview

'Recollections' is a piano concert presented by the KCL Modern Music Society. The concert will feature both solo and duet works by 20th-century composers such as Debussy, Poulenc, Shostakovich and many more. The name of the concert reflects the vivid imagery evoked by the pieces being played by our performers. With titles such as "Girl with the Flaxen Hair", "Capriccio after the Masked Ball" and "Waltz" from Cinderella, we hope the music engages emotionally with the audience and invites them to recollect memories that might arise from listening to the pieces.
