Whether you’re looking to do your bit for your community, learn new skills or make new friends, there’s always a good reason to volunteer, and what better time to come and find out how you can get involved than Student Volunteering Week. The Volunteering Fair will feature representatives from charities and volunteering societies, all keen to talk to students about their projects and answer your burning questions. From mentoring young people to planting trees, befriending the elderly, to helping the homeless, there’s a range of long term, short term and one-off opportunities available, so head down to The Shed and seize the opportunity to give something back!
