Overview

KCL Women in Medicine Society are delighted to be hosting the accomplished Mrs Scarlett McNally, consultant orthopedic surgeon, for the evening! Not only is Mrs McNally fully committed to her extensive role at Eastbourne DGH; she is a Cambridge University graduate and a member of multiple professional bodies, including the deputy chair Women in Surgery sub-committee Royal College of Surgeons.

Mrs McNally will be discussing her job role, the difficulties she faced in orthopedics, and balancing work/home. This event is FREE, OPEN TO ALL, and not to be missed for any aspiring medical students who wish to go into any speciality! Remember, over half of the medics in training are women, however men represent 66% of doctors on the specialist register. WiM aims to inspire students to establish greater equality amongst the medical community.

The event will also be livestreamed on our instagram page!
