Overview

The Energy and Environment Policy Centre at King’s Think Tank would like to invite you to a panel discussion focusing on the current economic and environmental issues surrounding plastic waste in the UK. The event will involve debate between three experts heavily involved in environmental affairs and policy, tackling the issue of plastic and how policy reforms can facilitate a more circular economy meanwhile maintaining environmental sustainability. We hope to bring to light potential policy avenues for future exploration around reducing our waste burden on the environment, as well as uncovering potential pitfalls that should be avoided when aiming to construct effective environmental policy. Opening statements from our panellists will be followed by conversations over their assertions, and then questions from the audience.
