Overview

Join the Global Health Policy Centre for a panel discussion on improving mental healthcare access for migrants (including asylum seekers, refugees, and economic migrants). The UNHRC estimates that there are over 20 people displaced worldwide every minute, with many still remaining in insecure areas. Many will have faced war and torture, yet most of these people will never receive the appropriate treatment to meet their mental health needs. As part of our research, we have gathered several key individuals to discuss the policy implementations to ensure that appropriate and accessible mental healthcare can be provided to all migrants both domestically and on an international scale.
