Overview

In this talk, we will explore the relationship between racism & capitalism, by drawing out the historical lessons of how black oppression began. Looking specifically at the civil rights movements, and more contemporary forms of Black struggle, we hope to explore what progress, if any, has been made. Despite having the first Black President, racial tensions have never been greater in the US. How, then, can we organise to fight racism?
