Overview

The King of Navarre and his three companions, Berowne, Longaville, and Dumain swear an oath to dedicate themselves to study for three years without distractions, particularly the society of women. No sooner have they signed their names, does the Princess of France arrive with her three ladies-in-waiting, Rosaline, Maria and Katharine - the men immediately fall in love. Each man attempts to hide his affection from the others, but eventually, all get found out, as they try to court the ladies in ridiculous disguises. The King's court is full of other fascinating characters who are sure to charm you as you get tangled up in their own love affairs - a Spanish traveller, the court gardener, and the charming but clueless police officer! The play serves as a romantic-comedy which reveals the folly of love and features musical accompaniment to tell its ravishing and endearing tale - experience a night full of Shakespeare's finest puns, wit, slapstick, and romance, as this stellar cast come together for three nights of unbelievable fun!
