Overview
KCLSU members can purchase tickets to the Shakespeares Globe tour and exhibition via our dedicated ticket booking website.
Based under the Globe Theatre, our engaging and informative Exhibition explores the life of Shakespeare, the London where he lived, and the theatre for which he wrote. Imagine the Globe as it would have been: the centre of what was once London’s most notorious entertainment district, surrounded by raucous taverns and bawdy-houses.
Please note that this tour is not date specific, you can book for the following time periods (just select date and time when you book online). Student tickets cost just £12.50.

- Globe Tours Monday 9.30am - 5.00pm
- Tuesday - Saturday 9.30am - 12.00pm
- Sunday 9.30am - 11.00am
DIRECTIONS
Nearest Tube: London Bridge / Tube Lines: Northern, Jubilee Directions from nearest tube: Exit the station, following signs for the River Thames/South Bank. As you reach the river, head west and the Globe is by the Tate Modern on the south side of the river.
IMPORTANT INFO
You NEED to bring your student ID with you on the day to redeem a student priced voucher (you must bring a printed copy of your voucher).
The tour is run only in English. However, complimentary audio guides are available in English, French, German Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Mandarin (exhibition only).
The Exhibition is fully accessible with lifts leading to each section of the Exhibition and up to the Globe theatre piazza level. There is no lift serving tours of the Globe Theatre, so if stairs are a problem please call the access information line on 02079021409.
