Invitation to attend to the screening of the documentary A Very Sicilian Justice.
The King’s College London Italian Society, in partnership with CinemaItaliaUk, is delighted to invite you to attend to the screening of the documentary A Very Sicilian Justice. The documentary, narrated by the Academy Award winner Helen Mirren, is an intimate portrait of Dr. Antonino Di Matteo, the Anti-mafia magistrate of the city of Palermo living under constant threat as he tries to take on the mafia. The screening will be introduced by Toby Follett and Paul Sapin, respectively Producer and Director of the documentary.
The screening will be followed by a panel debate with Dr. Di Matteo himself, Anna Sergi, expert in organised crime and lecturer in Criminology at the University of Essex and Simon Taylor, Director and Co-founder of the NGO “Global Witness”. The discussion will be moderated by Barbara Serra, journalist and presenter for Al-Jazeera.

Member tickets are bookable from 7th April, general admission from 10th April. This event is free, but you must book a ticket to attend - please bring ID with you, which may be checked.
