Room 1.70, Franklin-Wilkins Building, Waterloo Campus
Overview
Are you a budding entrepreneur wondering how to legally protect your intellectual property assets? Your start-up’s name, business logo, creative works and inventions can all be protected through intellectual property law, allowing you to prevent infringement, differentiate your business and increase your revenue stream.
King’s College London Information Law and Intellectual Property Society (KIIPS) is proud to present a free Intellectual Property Workshop tailored especially for student entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom. We’ve planned a half-day workshop and a Q&A panel led by legal experts in the field. In attendance to take your questions are Mr Mark Owen, Head of Taylor Wessing LLP’s Technology Department, as well as Dr. Frederick Mostert, Past President of the International Trademark Association and Former Chief Intellectual Property Counsel of the Richemont Group, which includes brands like Cartier and Alfred Dunhill. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
1. Identify the Intellectual Property your Business Owns
2. Protect your Intellectual Property
3. Commercialise, Monetise and Integrate your IP into your Corporate Strategy
Date: 28/3/2017
Time: 2 – 6pm (Registration begins at 1.45pm)
