Overview
We will be running workshops on being an inclusive society in March and April. These are for society committee members to take an active approach in ensuring your group is open to everyone. The workshops will be engaging and will give you a chance to meet fellow committee members, share ideas and plan some great inclusive activities for your society.
What is inclusion?
Inclusion is where the differences of each individual and/or group is acknowledged, respected and valued.
It is about ensuring that your society works for everyone and there are no barriers that prevent anyone from fully participating.
Why is it relevant to me/my society?
As a society leader, you have a responsibility of creating an inclusive and accessible environment, to champion the diversity of students at Kings’. This will not only benefit your society, but the wider community.
