Lecture Night Monday 13th March

Irish author, broadcaster, playwright, and journalist Mary Kenny comes to City Hall for a free lecture, “Perspectives on Irish Feminism”. The lecture will take place on Monday 13th March at 7.30pm in the Mayor's Chamber in City Hall. To attend this event, please register here: http://www.irishculturalcentre.co.uk/ 

Walking Tours Friday 17th-Sunday 19th March

FREE Irish Walking Tours 2.00pm Fri-Sun led by Tony McDonnell, London Blue Badge Tour Guide (book your place by calling Tony on 07850 184790).

  • Friday 17th March // Walk 1 "Terrible Beauty" // Meet at South side of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square.
  • Saturday 18th March // Walk 2 "Where The String Broke" // Meet at Camden Town Tube station (Kentish Town Road exit). 
  • Sunday 19th March // Walk 3 "The Emerald City" // Meet at main steps of St Paul's Cathedral.  

Parade and festival Sunday 19th March 2017

  • Join in the annual St Patrick's Day Parade from Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square with sports clubs, dance schools, marching bands, community groups, and pageantry. Master visual storytellers Macnus will also be participating this year.
  • Trafalgar Square festivities featuring stand-up comedian Jarlath Regan, West End stars, ceili, live music, community stalls, street food market, tea tent.
