Overview
We are very proud and excited to present our first NeuroCareers Fair!
This event is aimed at medical students, as well as students from other scientific backgrounds (Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences etc), who are interested in following a neuro-related career path, whether this means undertaking a neuro-Masters or PhD or training in Neurology or Neurosurgery. To encompass all these broad career options and make the event as helpful as possible for the participants, we have structured it as a fair, with stalls that interested students can visit in order to ask any questions they might have about the chosen career path to the stall holders.
The event will provide an invaluable opportunity for students to learn first hand from academics and medical professionals about the entry requirements into a certain form of training, what working in that field actually entails and what they should work on in order to maximise their chances of succeeding.
This Careers Fair will aim to draw together students from King's College and other institutions across London. The event is also being advertised through the London Student Neuroscience Network (LSNeuroN).
