Overview

On Wednesday 19 January, President & Principal, Professor Shitij Kapur will host King's alumna, Josephine Philips, (Philosophy & Physics, 2021) the Founder and CEO of fashion alterations and repairs app, Sojo, for a virtual ‘in conversation’ during Welcome to King’s.

Open to all students, Shitij and Josephine will talk about everything from their personal experiences of King's, to how passion with purpose is inspiring and shaping their own careers. They’ll also discuss Professor Kapur’s pathway to King’s, his ambitions for the university, as well as Josephine’s journey from developing a new idea, to being named the winner of the Santander X Entrepreneurship Awards 2021, a prestigious UK-wide entrepreneurial business pitching competition for students and recent graduates.

The virtual discussion will take place on Wednesday 19 January from 17:00 – 18:00. Register for the event with the Life at King’s app, available on Apple or Android.

If it’s your first time using the app, enter the passphrase reggielion22 to access the Welcome to King’s Guide.

From there, head to Welcome Events & Workshops > Alumni to register.
