Be the bridge between students and the center. Be the spreader of language and culture diversity.
Chinese (Mandarin) is my native language and English is the second. I learned France in primary school with my father, who is a senior France-Chinese interpreter, but I almost forgot it with fewer opportunities to use it in my daily life. Now studying French as a beginner in King’s, I hope to pick it up. I studied German as my undergraduate program unexpectedly and in the past four years, I understood various of aspects in Germany including history, technology, literature, media etc. Since then I realized the charm of languages and the culture behind them. With passion and experience, I’m willing to be the modern language center student representative and connect the students and center positively.
