Muay Thai is a martial art practiced in many parts of the world, originating in Thailand where it is the country’s national sport. It is an excellent and effective form of self-defence, and also a brilliant and dynamic way to keep fit! We can cater for you no matter your level, whether you are looking to keep fit and lose weight, or to compete.
Our classes are taken by Daniel Sam, currently the top super heavyweight kickboxer in the UK, who has a wealth of experience both in the ring and as a teacher.
The training times for this year (2018-19) are as follows:
All training equipment is provided (gloves, shin guards and pads) and we train barefoot, so trainers are not required! Just bring some sports wear and water!
We are a large, active and continuously developing society, accepting new members throughout the year. Not only do we offer the opportunity to train in what is considered one of the most well-rounded martial arts, but we host several events and socials, where you can get to know your fellow teammates! Come along and give it a try!
