It's fairly normal for things to get a bit stressful during periods of assessment and looking after our health and wellbeing can be more challenging.
There may be times when the stress becomes unmanageable, or you face difficulties (mitigating circumstances) which affect you so much you’re unable to handle your workload.
If you find yourself in this situation, we’re here to help you figure out your best options. King’s has strict assessment regulations, so it’s important to understand how these could affect you.
What if I can't sit an exam/submit my assessment?
If you attend, submit or participate in any form of assessment, King's will deem you to be in a position to do so. This means if you're experiencing difficulties that are affecting your preparation or preventing you from attending, such as illness, depression or bereavement, it’s essential that you take action as soon as you can in order to avoid getting a lower grade than you may have done otherwise.
