Become a Student Panel member

Would you like to gain experience which could help you in your future career whilst also giving back to the King’s community? Would you like to be involved in the college decision-making process by contributing a student perspective?

KCLSU is looking for volunteers to become Student Panel members on the Committees for Appeals and Student Conduct as well as Fitness to Practise hearings. You will have the opportunity to analyse student and college cases and gain a more in-depth knowledge of the college regulations whilst working alongside academic staff and inputting into the decision-making process.

The commitment is to attend training (3 hours) and at least one hearing per term (4 hours) allowing time to read over any relevant paperwork in detail. The hearings are usually on Thursday or Friday at Waterloo campus.
