Student Panel Member Volunteer

KCLSU is looking for volunteers to become Student Panel Members for the College Committee Panels. This role involves sitting in on student and college hearings regarding student appeals & complaints and Fit for Practice hearings.

You’ll analyse student and college cases and gain a more in-depth knowledge of King’s regulations whilst working alongside academic staff and contributing to the decision making process.

It’s an excellent opportunity to gain experience whilst also giving back to our Union and peers at King’s. Develop invaluable skills, which could later be used in business or the law profession, or any other career which values communication and evaluation skills.

The commitment is to attend training and at least one hearing per term allowing time to read over any relevant paperwork in detail. The hearings are usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays at Waterloo Campus.
