Start a project

As well as enabling volunteers to work with community based organisations, the volunteering department supports students in managing their own projects. We already have some very successful student-led projects (such as SHINE, a primary school mentoring project, and TENTELENI, teaching in township schools and promoting health issues and HIV/AIDS awareness in South Africa) all of which have been driven forward by KCL students.

For an idea of what you could accomplish, take a look at our current student led projects:

So If you've spotted a need at the College or in your community which is not already being addressed, why not set up a project of your own? It isn't as difficult as you might think - we can provide all the information and support you need to get your idea up and running! We have lots of resources to help students wishing to set up their own projects so if you have any ideas, fill out the form below and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
