Member Feedback
In order for us to improve, we need to know what we are doing right and what we could be doing better. We are always willing to listen to what our members think and would welcome your opinions at any time. There are various ways in which you can give us feedback:

2. Fill in customer comments forms which are located at the reception area on the gym floor. 3. If you have a query or concern about a specific issue, please feel free to email the Fitness Centre Manager at gary.davine@kclsu.org.
Classes
Classes are free for all Kinetic members.
Classes cost £5 for University of London Students and King's College London staff, £8 for everyone else per class.
Only Kinetic Members can book classes by calling 020 7633 2196.
Classes are available to non-members but must be booked at reception and paid for in advance.
Classes can only be booked 48 hours before the class.
Class users must collect a receipt from the reception desk prior to the start of each class and hand it to the instructor.
Should members arrive more than 5 minutes after the class has started, entry to the class is at the discretion of the instructor.
All personal possessions (i.e. bags, coats, etc) should be kept in the lockers provided in the changing rooms and not stored in the studio.
Appropriate sportswear (e.g. trainers, t-shirt and shorts) must be worn at all times during the class.
The studio programme is subject to change at the discretion of the studio coordinator at any time. Please email Assistant Fitness Centre Manager ed.nedjari@kclsu.org to receive the most up to date class timetable.
Prices
The gym is open to students, staff of the College and to members
of the public. Like all KCLSU services, priority for the service
is given to our students and this is reflected in the separate pricing
structure. Some members of the public may be eligible for the KCL rate of membership, but will first have to join the KCLSU associate membership scheme.
Unlike a lot of health clubs, KCLSU Kinetic does not charge a joining fee, and in addtion we offer our members the following FREE services as part of their membership

Equipment
The equipment is a modern range supplied by Precor, one of the
leading brands in fitness equipment provision. It includes a wide
range of Cardio Vascular machines ranging from treadmills, through
to x-trainers, steppers and bikes. Additionally, there is a comprehensive
free weights section that includes flat benches, a squat rack, Smiths
machine, and much more in between. For those who like performing
weights on the machines, Precor also supply Kinetic with their resistance
range which accommodates all the major muscle groups around the
body. Kinetic also possesses core stability equipment such as ab-toners
and Swiss Balls.

Lounge
The lounge area on the first floor allows gym members a comfortable
and relaxing space in which to wait before or after their class
or even to meet friends before their calorie busting gym session!
There is the option to enjoy one of our fresh “Fairtrade”
coffees on one of the luxury sofas or, if you are a King's College
student, access the internet.

Location
The gym is located in the Stamford Street Halls of Residence and
can be accessed from the entrance on the corner of Cornwall Road
and Stamford Street. It is a short walk from the Strand Campus and
from Guy's and is only 30 seconds walk from the main teaching building
at Waterloo.
