Your Voice
You have a say in every level of decision making and on-going development at KCLSU and King’s, from sounding casual feedback in the bar to electing the student you want as your President.
As a democratic organisation we provide opportunities throughout the year for all students to influence, shape and change KCLSU policy. Through our elections for Student Officers and Student Council, termly Referenda, All Student General Meetings, Forums, E-petitions, Online Polls and Student Voice Week you have the chance to lead and change your Students' Union to ensure it is working for you.
As a King's student you can influence KCLSU and the College through:
- Voting for those you want representing you as a Student Officer or Student Council member
- Standing to be a Student Rep and representing students in your department or school
- Submitting policy and voting in our termly Student General Meetings
- Submitting policy and voting in our termly cross campus Referenda
- Join one of our forums and shape the debate around KCLSU's Sports and Student Activities, Student Media, Volunteering or Entertainments offering
- Standing to be a Halls Rep and representing students in your accommodation
- Submitting and e-petition or filling in an Online Poll
- Taking part in Student Voice Week or speaking to a Student Officer in person, via e-mail or Twitter
Check out the passed policy on the Your Decisions page and get in touch if you have any questions or ideas.
