What is Student Council?

The Student Council is responsible for deciding policy, campaigns, and taking the student voice to every level of KCLSU, King’s and the national student movement. Made up of a cross-section of the student body here at King's they get together every two weeks to debate and vote on the issues that matter most to you.

By electing your Student Council, you are ensuring KCLSU is run by students who represent you. Any current King’s student is eligible to stand as a candidate and vote in KCLSU elections. Student Officers are elected in March, taking post for 12 months from August, while all other positions on Student Council are elected in October, beginning their 12 month term immediately.
