Here at KCLSU we run a confidential and impartial Advice Service which offers you advice and support throughout your time as a student.

Whilst we hope that you won’t run into any problems, if you do we are here and happy to help. We have a dedicated advice team made up of our Advice Service Manager, Annie Reilly, and Advice Caseworkers Angela Urasala and Adam Campbell. We also employ students as Advice Service Assistants who can provide frontline information and guidance when needed.

The team supports individual students who need advice and support and also work to improve your student experience by feeding back on larger issues to the College. We are a member of Advice UK which means our service meets their quality assurance standards and you can be sure your issue will be handled professionally.

Our Advice Service functions independently and we can help and advise you on any issues you may have with the College. We can help you with:

• Support in making an appeal
• Advice on submitting a complaint
• Support if your Fitness to Practice is called into question
• Guidance on the College misconduct procedures
• Assistance if you have mitigating circumstances or need an extension
• Signposting you to study skill support

Visit our Academic Advice pages for more information on the areas we can assist you with. You can also find out more about how to access the service and ways to get in touch by visiting our Contact Us page. If you are not sure if we can help then we encourage you to get in touch anyway and if we’re not the right people to help you, we’ll try our best to find them!

The Advice Service operates within the KCLSU Equal Opportunities policy.  You can find this document on our governance webpages along with the complaints procedure.
