Student Council

Student Council is a great opportunity to get involved in the heart of what KCLSU does.

Each year 30 students are elected in the first term to join Student Council and ensure student views shape the work of KCLSU. Student Council acts as a direct link between students and KCLSU, ensuring what students want and need is at the heart of what KCLSU does.

Student Council plays a vital role by gathering student opinion and debating the issues that really matter to King's students. They then feed their recommendations directly to the Trustee board who make sure their suggestions are put into effect.

Elections for positions on Student Council take place 15th-17th October and in the run up to the election you'll see students out and about campaigning for your vote.
Nominations open on the 22nd September so if you think you might be interested in standing for election take a look at the candidate information pack when its uploaded onto kclsu.org on the 22nd.
