e-petitions

E-petitioning is a way for us to listen directly to King’s students and give them the opportunity to petition us on any issue that they feel is relevant. If you know of an issue that you feel should be addressed you can now set up an e-petition to collect signatures and demonstrate how many students feel the same way, pushing us to do something about it.

What is an e-petition?
An e-petition is a petition posted online that can be signed electronically through a website. As a student you can create a petition on the site and other students can then add their details to the petition to sign it.

How do I set up an e-petition?
There are certain procedures that you need to follow in order for us to allow your e-petition to go ‘live’ on the site. We recommend you read these before setting up your e-petition. To see the full e-petitions Submission and Acceptance Policy document please click here.

Once you’re sure your petition falls within the policy and has satisfied the requirements, you can submit your e-petition by clicking here and filling in the online form.

If you need further guidance in setting up your e-petition, have a look at our Step by Step Guide.

How do I view current e-petitions and add my signature?
A full list of current e-petitions is available to view here. To add your signature to an e-petition click on the petition name and you will see a form to fill in with your name, address and email address. You must enter a valid King’s College London email address for your signature to count.

Questions?
If you have a question regarding e-petitions, the answer may be in our Frequently Asked Questions. If you still can't find what you're looking for, please contact representation@kclsu.org.
